It’s the seasons of merry making and travelling again! While it’s a great time to unwind and to spend time with our loved ones, are you also worried of the guilty indulgences or perhaps just to ensure that you have your daily fix of cardio workout?
Here are some suggested exercises that you can do. No more complaints (or excuses) that you have no time for cardio during your holidays!
The recommended routine is 30-60secs depending on your fitness level for each exercise for a set.
Repeat the exercises for a minimum of 3 sets
High Knees Lift
Stand in an upright position and drive the knees up to hips height
Repeat on alternate knees
Fundamental cardio exercise that you would see in almost all circuit classes
In addition to a great cardio, this is a great way to work the shoulders and hips flexors.
Heel to Butt Kicks
Place palms at the butt and kick up the heels up towards them
Excellent exercise to warm up the knees and to give the calves a great boost
Another move that also work the shoulders and abs while getting an awesome cardio workout.
Be sure to tuck those knees towards the chest to reap maximum benefits from the exercise
